Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with a practical background in manufacturing. You will design and execute control plans, lead cross-functional teams to improve the Quality Management System, and drive containment and corrective actions when issues arise.

The role includes training quality personnel and collaborating with suppliers and customers to ensure production readiness. Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 0–2 years of related experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Materials).
• 0–2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (intern/co-op acceptable).
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and project lists.
• Team oriented with the ability to influence others without authority.

Responsibilities

• Designs and executes control plans and audits to ensure plans are followed.
• Leads cross-functional teams to improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Improves gauges and inspection methods; supports quality audits.
• Leads GR&R studies and machine capability studies; drives quality improvements and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with suppliers and customers; trains quality personnel and machinists on gauges and inspection methods.
• Programs gauges for inspection and supports new product launches with APQP/PPAP activities.

Work Model:

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

Designs and executes control plans, audits to ensure that control plans are being followed, and ensures containment and corrective action in the event of non-conformance. Works with Cross functional teams to update the QMS.

Major Responsibilities:

• FAI's/PPAP's
• Leads Multi-functional teams to help improve the Quality System
• Gage Improvements
• Inspection Improvements
• Quality Audits
• Leading MSA's (GR&R's and machine capability studies)
• Leads Quality Improvements and Corrective Actions
• Works with Suppliers and Customers
• Training quality personal, Machinists on gages & Inspection methods
• Programming Gages

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Materials.
• 0-2 years of engineering experience (Intern and/or co-op) in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with all levels of employees and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while adjusting to changing priorities and project lists.
• Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority.

Nice to have:

• Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years
• Experience supporting quality activities for new product launches, including APQP, PPAP, FAI, process validation, and production readiness activities.
