Jabil seeks a Quality Assurance support engineer to assist manufacturing. You will drive corrective actions and support APQP activities across products and processes used in server and data center infrastructure.

Foundational knowledge of quality engineering and thermal management technologies is preferred. The role involves performing capability studies, FAI, defect analysis, MRB, and line/product audits while adhering to safety policies and security procedures.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in server, storage, networking, or data center infra products a plus.
• Exposure to electromechanical assemblies and system-level assembly operations.
• Familiarity with high-performance computing products is preferred.

SUMMARY

To assist the Quality Assurance function as technical support in issues affecting manufacturing. To support and drive corrective action efforts.Preferred candidates will possess foundational knowledge of server and rack manufacturing processes, quality engineering principles, and the thermal management technologies used in liquid-cooled AI and data center infrastructure products. Exposure to fluid systems, pressure testing, leak detection, heat transfer, and reliability validation is highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure capability studies are performed on critical processes.
• Perform first article inspection and review visual aids.
• Perform defect analysis reporting.
• Perform MRB on sustained products.
• Participate in CAC meetings - support continuous improvement.
• Perform line and product audits.
• Assist Quality Engineering in APQP.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry ExposureInternship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience supporting server, storage, networking, rack integration, or data center infrastructure products.Exposure to manufacturing environments involving electromechanical assemblies, sheet metal fabrication, cable integration, or system-level assembly operations.Familiarity with server, rack, or high-performance computing (HPC) products is preferred.
• Liquid Cooling and Thermal ManagementBasic understanding of liquid cooling technologies used in AI and data center applications.Exposure to fluid systems, coolant distribution, heat exchangers, cold plates, manifolds, pumps, valves, and tubing assemblies.Fundamental knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and cooling-system performance concepts.Awareness of leak prevention, fluid cleanliness, contamination control, and pressure integrity requirements associated with liquid-cooled products.
• Quality and Manufacturing KnowledgeUnderstanding of quality engineering tools including: First Article Inspection (FAI) Control Plans Process Flow Diagrams PFMEA Root Cause Analysis Statistical Process Control (SPC).Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA processes.Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, mechanical specifications, assembly instructions, and test procedures.
