Job summary

The Raymond Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Muscatine, IA facility in a hands-on role focused on manufacturing quality and inspection techniques. You will serve as the subject matter expert for GD&T and CMM inspection, supporting the QMS and driving continuous improvement with a team of engineers and operators.

Key responsibilities include leading CMM programming for inspectors, interpreting GD&T callouts, and designing capability studies for internal and supplier parts,

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2 years in a similar role.
• Intermediate GD&T certification from an accredited certifying body.
• Experience using CMM programming software such as Calypso, PC-DMIS, and/or Polyworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMM program writing for execution by an inspector or technician.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T callouts.
• Support manufacturing quality to resolve defects.
• Design and execute capability studies for manufactured and supplied parts.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to support advanced inspection requests.
