Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Quality Engineer for the Grand Prairie, Texas Breaker Plant to drive quality control in assembly and manufacturing processes. You will develop and improve FMEA, control plans, and support production with quality decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 2+ years in quality/manufacturing, strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, ISO 9001, and proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems. U.S. work authorized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of quality, engineering, or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and ISO 9001.
• Experience with 8D problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP software and MS Office.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality control and assurance in assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and improve FMEA and control plans.
• Implement tools to improve first pass yield.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support production with quality-related decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve design and manufacturability.
• Drive costs related to quality, FPY, and warranty reductions.
