Job summary

Light Efficient Design is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and improve products and manufacturing processes. You will design quality standards, inspect materials, coordinate testing, and drive corrective actions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role reports to the VP of Quality and Engineering and emphasizes strong analytical and project management skills. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in Quality Engineering or related fields, experience with electrical products, and a

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality Engineering, QA, Manufacturing Engineering, or Design Engineering.
Experience in Quality Processes, Production and Testing of Electrical Products (Lighting Preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in Quality/Manufacturing/Engineering preferred; associate degree considered with work experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality standards and control systems.
Analyze warranty returns and coordinate supplier improvements.
Liaise with UL/ETL to ensure compliance with listing agencies and government regulations.
Design testing methods and verify process capabilities; establish standards.
Calibrate and maintain test and production equipment.
Develop corrective and preventive actions and improvements.
Manage the customer complaint process regarding product quality.
Study product requirements to develop manufacturing methods and equipment.
Provide technical support for all products.
