Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:

The Quality Engineer ensures that products manufactured in the facility meet all quality standards and customer specifications. The role involves designing and implementing quality control processes, monitoring product performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues. This position is critical to maintaining compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes.
  • Inspect and test electronic components, assemblies, and finished products.
  • Perform root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, AS9100) and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits and prepare detailed reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce production defects.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize production processes.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including test plans, inspection reports, and certifications.
  • Analyze quality data and present findings to management.
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address quality concerns through audits and assessments.
  • Handle customer complaints related to product quality and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers to meet and exceed their quality expectations.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in electronic manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
  • Familiarity with electronic manufacturing processes like SMT (Surface-Mount Technology), PCB assembly, and soldering standards.
  • Understanding of Six Sigma or Lean methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality software/tools like SPC (Statistical Process Control), Minitab, or equivalent.
  • Certifications ():
    • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
    • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
