Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer for a manufacturing environment in Seymour, CT. You will own quality systems, drive process improvements, and support new product launches, audits, and supplier interactions.

Expect to develop and implement process controls, inspect methods, and testing procedures while monitoring quality performance and leading corrective actions to achieve cost savings and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
• Knowledge of SPC/SQC, auditing, inspection methods, quality systems, Lean Manufacturing, and IMDS principles.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development and concurrent engineering activities from a quality perspective.
• Develop and implement process controls, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Monitor quality performance and analyze reporting metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead and manage corrective action processes and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in quality audits and quality clinic activities.
• Report quality trends, losses, and performance metrics to leadership.
