Monarch Steel Company of Alabama, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and implement a robust QA program ensuring products meet established standards and customer needs. The role emphasizes 1 T.E.A.M. culture and collaboration with ERP systems and cross-functional teams.

You will lead QA activities, oversee design documentation reviews, participate in audits, and drive continuous improvement across production processes in a safety-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Embraces the 1 T.E.A.M. culture.
• Utilizes ERP system involvement in daily tasks.
• Formulates and maintains quality objectives aligned with policies.
• Manages customer relationships, issues and audits.
• Investigates and resolves customer quality complaints.
• Develops systems to meet ISO, IATF, ASTM standards.
• Interprets QA philosophy to key personnel.
• Performs QA reviews of design documentation for requirements.
• Applies SPC methods to analyze processes and changes.
• Keeps management informed of significant QA issues and actions.
• Prepares and presents technical information to management staff.
• Directs QA technicians and administrative staff.
• Maintains knowledge of government/industry QA codes and standards.
• Designs QA training programs with managers.
• Investigates and resolves customer quality concerns.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
