Job summary

LHH in Chicago Heights, IL is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements and ensure ISO compliance across plant operations. This role engages cross‑functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and customers to solve problems and elevate product quality.

You will serve as the liaison between customers and internal teams, perform root-cause analysis, analyze SPC data, and support new product launches and validations. Travel to customer and supplier sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems.
• Experience with SPC, TQM, DOE, and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
• Proven problem-solving skills in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key liaison between customers and internal teams on quality requirements and issues
• Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Analyze and present data (SPC) to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with engineering on new product launches and validation processes
• Monitor production through audits to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Travel to customer/supplier sites as needed to resolve quality concerns
