Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to join our West Haven manufacturing facility. You will support product and process quality, ensure compliance with ISO/IATF standards, and help drive operational excellence across our manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 3+ years in quality roles, strong analytical skills, and experience with Minitab and quality management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems in manufacturing/high-tech.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 standards.
• Experience with lab software and quality management tools such as Minitab, JDE, Intelex.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work with Manufacturing and Operations to analyze quality issues and drive process improvements.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Participate in customer complaint investigations and OCAP activities.
• Create and update SOPs and Work Instructions to reflect QMS and ISO/IATF requirements.
• Plan and perform internal audits for QMS improvement and ISO/IATF adherence.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure actions are linked to FMEA and updated as needed.
• Analyze quality data to report KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
