Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Quality Analyst to join our Auburn Hills, MI facility. The Quality Engineer will support the development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and ensure product and process quality across operations, customers, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing QA experience, working with core tools (SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA) and a proven track record of driving containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions in metal forming, especially

Qualifications

3–5 years of manufacturing quality experience.
Experience applying SPC, FMEA, APQP and MSA.
Internal auditing experience preferred (system/process/product audits).
Experience in metal forming, especially forging.

Responsibilities

Handle internal, customer and supplier complaints – lead cross-functional teams through the problem resolution process.
Interact with customers and suppliers, maintaining positive and collaborative relationships.
Review portals and indicators and communicate status updates to leadership.
Apply process documentation (Flow Charts, FMEA, Control Plans, Work instructions) to drive improvements.
Perform inspections and measurements and document results.
Support the APQP/PPAP process (Dimensional review, PSW preparations, etc).
Maintain equipment and gauges, and arrange calibrations/repairs as needed.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
All other duties as assigned.
