This is a full-time, on-site Quality Engineer / CMM Programmer role based in South Beloit, IL. The role is responsible for developing, programming, and operating coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to inspect complex machined and cast parts, ensuring compliance with customer and internal specifications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining inspection plans, interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T, performing dimensional and visual inspections, and documenting results in accordance with quality procedures. The Quality Engineer / CMM Programmer collaborates closely with engineering, production, and management to resolve nonconformances, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, maintains quality documentation, and contributes to maintaining AS9100 and ISO standards across the organization.
