Job summary

MetalTek International Carondelet Division seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality department and ensure on-time, compliant product shipments. Responsibilities include contract review, procedure maintenance, audits, and training needs, plus material testing/inspection of all incoming and outgoing products.

The role will implement systems to monitor quality and drive cost reduction while supporting increased throughput across the division.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for MetalTek International Carondelet Division quality department.
• Ensure compliant products are produced and shipped on time.
• Manage customer order contract review process.
• Maintain systems compliance and write/maintain Carondelet procedures.
• Conduct audits and identify training needs.
• Oversee material testing and inspection of incoming/outgoing products.
• Implement monitoring systems to reduce errors and costs and improve throughput.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, customer order contract review, maintaining systems compliance, write and maintain Carondelet procedures, conducting audits and identifying training needs. This position is also responsible for material testing and inspection of incoming and outgoing product/services. The Quality Manager will implement systems to monitor and constantly improve to reduce errors and costs as well as support increased throughput.

Requirements

• BS Degree
• 7-10 years of quality systems experience
• Strong technical skills desired
• Foundry experience highly desired
• Experience with ISO 9001-2008, NORSOK, PED, ASME Section 9 required.
• Experience with AS9100, NADCAP, ASTM, 10CFR50, NQA1 / NCA3800 preferred.
• Ability to support customer audits.
• Excellent communication skills.
