Job summary

Anomatic is seeking a driven Quality Engineer located in Newark, Ohio to support manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction. You will lead root cause investigations, drive CAPA, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure products meet quality standards.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and quality methodologies, serving as a key liaison between Quality and Operations to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years in quality engineering or supervision in manufacturing.
• 4+ years manufacturing experience with quality, engineering, or process improvement.
• Proven ability to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Minitab is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support ISO 9001, GMP, and customer requirements; maintain quality systems.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming product, complaints, supplier issues.
• Facilitate CAPA activities and verify effectiveness.
• Develop/maintain control plans, SOPs, work instructions, and documentation.
• Participate in internal, supplier, customer, and third-party audits.
• Partner with Production and Engineering to improve process capability.
• Analyze production data to improve yield, scrap, and efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on quality and cost.
• Support PFMEA, DFMEA, control plans, risk assessments, and process mapping.
• Prepare quality metrics and reports for leadership and customers.
