Job summary

Motion is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Plano, Texas team on-site. This role collaborates with cross-functional engineers to perform basic calculations, develop and analyze designs, and support production quality.

You will use CAD tools and 2D/3D drawings, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. 0–2 years of related engineering experience and a bachelor's degree are typically required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 0–2 years of related experience.
• Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and project organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support problems.
• Assists in preparing reports, graphs, layouts and summaries communicating progress or results.
• Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills.
• Recommends and designs components and systems to meet customer specs for size, layout and performance.
• Uses CAD, 2D/3D drawings, schematics and load calculations.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
