Job summary

DEEP Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer for our Houston site to establish and run the quality function from the ground up. You will perform inspections, audits, and non-conformance resolution while shaping the site’s QMS aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and shared with the UK team.

Reporting to the Senior SHEQ Manager, you will collaborate with production, engineering, sales and leadership to embed a quality-first culture and ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical field; or equivalent experience.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification and hands-on audit experience required.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (defence, marine, energy, aerospace).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001:2015.
• Plan, lead, and report internal audits; drive corrective actions to closure.
• Perform hands-on quality inspections, measurements and testing on the shop floor.
• Own non-conformance handling, root-cause analysis, containment and verification.
• Coordinate external audits and customer audits as site quality contact.
