Job summary

DEEP Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Engineer at our Houston facility to establish and run the site’s quality function from the ground up. You will perform day-to-day inspections and audits, drive QMS improvements, and ensure alignment with ISO 9001:2015 across US/UK sites.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership to maintain a rigorous quality culture. You will own non-conformance processes, coordinate internal and external audits, and mentor staff on quality standards,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality required.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor activities and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the internal audit program, scheduling, conducting audits, and driving closes.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans, inspection criteria, and work instructions.
• Perform hands-on quality inspections, measurements, and testing on the shop floor.
• Own non-conformance and corrective action processes including root-cause investigation and verification.
• Lead external certification audits and customer audits as site quality lead.
• Collaborate with UK SHEQ team to align with group IMS and shared ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Support audits across US and UK sites and maintain quality system documentation.
