Job summary

Light Efficient Design is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and improve products and manufacturing processes, monitor outputs, and establish quality standards. The engineer will design testing methods and QC systems, and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure conformance.

Minimum 2 years in Quality Engineering or related field is required; experience with electrical products and lighting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Engineering or related fields.
• Experience with quality processes and electrical/lighting products preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality standards and control systems.
• Analyze warranty returns and work with suppliers on improvements.
• Liaise with UL/ETL to meet listing agency requirements.
• Design testing methods and ensure process capability.
• Manage calibration and maintenance of test/production equipment.
• Develop corrective and preventative actions and improvements.
• Oversee customer complaint processes regarding product quality.
• Study product requirements to develop manufacturing methods.
