Calqulate is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure plastic injection molded components meet customer, internal, and regulatory requirements. The role supports production, engineering, and suppliers by applying automotive quality tools and driving corrective actions.

Responsibilities include leading SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP/PPAP, audits, and continuous improvement, while interfacing with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to sustain quality performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of Quality Engineering in automotive manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain quality system for projects assigned.
• Lead and/or participate in SPC implementation.
• Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements.
• Participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits; support corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Support daily manufacturing operations for plastic injection molding.
• Analyze nonconforming material and implement containment actions.
• Monitor SPC data and identify quality trends.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Maintenance on process improvements.
• Lead APQP activities for new and existing programs; prepare PPAP documentation.
