Job summary

I I Stanley Co., Inc. seeks a Quality Engineer in Battle Creek, MI to investigate customer quality complaints and participate in cross-functional teams to implement countermeasures.

The role involves collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and associates to ensure approved countermeasures are applied in NPDC mass production functions. The incumbent will analyze returned parts to determine root causes, report failure analyses, and host on-site customer visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in machining, manufacturing processes, and materials is preferred.
• CAD-Solid Modeling knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer quality complaints and participate in cross-functional teams to implement countermeasures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and associates to ensure countermeasures are applied.
• Assist in establishing standard documentation, process diagrams, FMEA, and control plans.
• Analyze returned parts to identify root cause and report failure analyses.
• Provide recommendations for countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
• Host on-site customer visits and travel to customer locations as needed.
