Job summary

CSP Composite, a leading automotive supplier in Ohio, is seeking a Quality Engineer with a bachelor’s in quality, mechanical, or industrial engineering to join our team. You will collect, analyze, and report defects, lead cross-functional action plans, and ensure testing and documentation meet requirements.

The role involves reviewing paint defects data, DPU-related data, and supporting continuous improvement through audits and PFMEA documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality, mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Two years quality experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and strong leadership skills.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office - Word and Excel.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Data collection, analysis, and reporting of defects in systems.
• Lead action plan creation and maintenance with cross functional team.
• Review Alpha Assembly data to identify current issues with painted parts.
• Review data from other customers as related to paint defects and communicate to plant personnel.
