Job summary

JMA Wireless is seeking a Quality Engineer to implement APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans on new and existing products. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive First Pass Yield and reduce nonconformances while building scalable quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years as a Quality Engineer in automotive or aerospace manufacturing.
• Hands-on APQP/PPAP ownership with FMEA and control plans.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 is valuable.
• Advanced statistics knowledge: SPC, Cpk/Ppk, Gage R&R/MSA.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP implementation across new product introductions.
• Develop and maintain PPAPs, Control Plans, and FMEA.
• Establish and maintain the quality management system.
• Analyze First Pass Yield, nonconformances, and RMA data with cross-functional teams.
• Support design release and change approvals with QA planning.
• Interface with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure conformance.
• Identify metrology technologies and evaluate new measurement methods.
• Conduct audits and drive corrective actions.
