Job summary

The Kinetic Group is a leading maker of Federal Ammunition and other brands, seeking a Quality Engineer to provide hands-on quality engineering expertise and leadership for the FCC product line (Shotshell). The role reports to the Quality Director and is based in Anoka, MN.

Requirements include a BSIE/BSME degree and 1–3 years in high-volume manufacturing, with knowledge of SPC, DOE and TQM. ISO 9000 and Six Sigma experience are a plus, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BSIE/BSME from a major university or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of progressive Quality Engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and TQM; strong problem-solving and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing process quality and lead plant teams to sustainable improvements.
• Lead or support Six Sigma and product-line improvement projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Assist in quality-system improvements, including any ISO 9000 implementation.
• Provide direction to quality auditors and support supplier quality initiatives.
• Support capital projects and develop quality data analysis and measurement systems.
