Job summary

Etched is hiring a Quality Engineer based in San Jose, California, to ensure robust quality systems across suppliers and contract manufacturing. You will oversee quality assurance for AI hardware builds, including driving inspection and resolving issues to meet Etched’s standards.

The role requires collaboration with various teams and a hands-on approach in the factory, as well as establishing scalable quality processes. Must-have qualifications include 5+ years of experience in the field and strong knowledge of quality methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality roles.
• Proven track record with contract manufacturers and ODMs.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance for overseas and US-based suppliers.
• Establish inspection processes to ensure compliance with standards.
• Drive failure analysis and corrective actions.
