Leupold & Stevens, Inc. seeks a Quality Engineer 2 focused on product testing in Beaverton, OR. You will support product development, design inspection equipment, and drive quality through data analysis and problem solving in a high-accuracy manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on inspection, test planning, and collaboration across teams to ensure product specifications are validated and processes are optimized for life-long performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 year minimum experience or CQE certification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Strong knowledge of SPC and measurement systems analysis.
• Proficient with statistical software and Excel.
• Experience in a manufacturing QA environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures and work instructions; suggest improvements.
• Design inspection & test equipment; provide training as needed.
• Assist in product testing to support project timing.
• Create product test plans and validate specifications.
• Lead problem solving using 8D and statistical methods.
• Monitor quality data and help implement improvement opportunities.
