As a Quality Engineer – Level 2 or Level 3 located in Goleta, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
The Quality Engineer (Level 2/3) serves as a technical leader for quality assurance within Space Systems, guiding projects through all phases from requirements and design review through build and delivery. The quality engineer will ensure robust process control, regulatory compliance, and the highest product quality through leadership of audits, root cause analyses, and supplier/customer coordination. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, interface directly with program leadership and customers, and drive innovative solutions to complex quality challenges.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $47,200.00 - $78,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $56,000.00 - $93,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
