Job summary

Turnberry Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its Digital Modernization practice in Indiana. You will develop quality standards, analyze data for product evaluation, and ensure supplier readiness for new products in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a CQE certification, a B.S. in Engineering, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and proficiency in GD&T, FMEA, and quality testing methods.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Engineering or an alternative Bachelor’s degree with CQE certification (e.g., CQE).
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing.
  • Strong understanding of QSR/ISO regulations, design assurance, FMEA, and product testing methods.
  • Experience using optical comparators and CMMs.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication across levels of the company.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate procedures, specifications, and standards for products and processes
  • Develop and implement corrective/preventative action plans
  • Collect and analyze data for gauge and product evaluation
  • Identify critical personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials needed for the completion of new products
  • Ensure that suppliers have necessary information and facilities to deliver quality products
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Engineering or an alternative Bachelor’s degree program with certification as a Quality Engineer (e.g. CQE)
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Medical Device, particularly Orthopedic Industry experience preferred
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing
  • Thorough understanding of QSR/ISO regulations, design assurance, FMEA, and product testing methods
  • Able to use optical comparators and CMMs
  • Ability to work within a team environment and build relationships outside of the department as well as outside the company (suppliers, regulatory agencies, etc.)
  • Ability to deliver, meet deadlines, and have results orientation
  • Able to communicate both orally and in written form to multiple levels of the company
  • Demonstrate characteristics of high potential for future development opportunities
  • Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this role is $55,000 to $80,000 or the hourly equivalent. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
