The Quality Engineer at Anderson Dahlen plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our manufacturing processes and products. This position involves collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues. The role requires developing and documenting quality policies, procedures, and work instructions, as well as facilitating continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis. The Quality Engineer will lead efforts in customer-facing quality projects, conduct supplier audits, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Additionally, the role involves monitoring production cycles, inspecting materials and electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the company's goal of delivering superior products and customer satisfaction.
Candidates should possess prior experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and technical documentation is essential. A solid understanding of statistical analysis methods and process improvement techniques, such as Lean Manufacturing, is highly desirable. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving capabilities. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Industrial Engineering (IE), or an equivalent field is preferred. Additional certifications in Quality Assurance or related areas will be considered advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate good analytical skills, technical writing proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve quality objectives.
