Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve the Quality Management System under the guidance of the Quality Manager. You will review processes, lead root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree or ASQ CQE, with 1–3 years in manufacturing, and familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, and ISO 9001:2015 audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing.
• Auditing ISO 9001:2015 or comparable quality system.

Responsibilities

• Review effectiveness of existing Quality processes.

Quality Engineer

Pro-Active Engineering has an opening for a Quality Engineer . In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System under the direction of the Quality Manager.

Essential Functions

• Review effectiveness of existing Quality processes.


• Lead problem-solving efforts to determine root cause and develop corrective actions.


• Create, review, and update controlled process documentation.


• Define, implement, and evaluate process validation tools.

Required Education and Experience

• Auditing of ISO9001:2015 or comparable quality system


• Statistical analysis in a manufacturing environment


• ANSI/ESD S20.20 controls


• SQL or VBA
