Job summary

Actalent in Memphis, TN is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive new product launches and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure high-quality production and customer satisfaction through quality standards and corrective actions.

Responsibilities include leading APQP-based quality planning, developing inspection plans, and collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams. 5+ years in quality engineering with ISO experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar).
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing (electronics preferred).
• Experience with core quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D, SPC, Lean/Six Sigma, etc.).
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ISO standards and audits.

We are seeking a Quality Engineer for an exciting opportunity in Memphis, TN. • Familiarity with quality tools including PFMEA, PFD, Control Plans, 8D, A3, DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, PPAP, AQP, Audit, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Process Capacity, 3Way 5Whys, Risk Assessment, and Failure Tree Analysis.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $45.00/hr.
