Job description

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to monitor production assembly processes, focusing on improving efficiency and participating in production team meetings to drive continuous improvement. You will be responsible for establishing and monitoring inspection plans based on customer acceptance criteria and ensuring compliance with both customer requirements and our Quality Management System. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, working alongside a diverse range of personnel including Engineers, Manufacturing personnel, management resources, and representatives from the U.S. Government. Additionally, you will provide engineering assistance for lot acceptance test requirements, write and incorporate detailed work instructions, and plan and conduct quality audits while conveying findings through formal reporting.

• Experience with first article inspection and root cause analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• A four-year degree is not necessary; relevant experience is key.
• Experience in munitions and firearms is advantageous.
• Understanding of military standards and specifications.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ambitious and hands‑on approach.

Job Type & Location

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors. full benefits are available when hired at Amtec.
