Qualifications

• US citizen eligible for employment in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing or related field.
• ASQ CQE/CQA and/or Six Sigma certifications recommended.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and solid problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control systems and inspection criteria.
• Analyze product specifications and customer requirements.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and nonconformances.
• Lead corrective and preventive action (CPAR) processes.
• Monitor statistical process control data to identify performance trends.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, design, and supplier teams to maintain quality.
• Investigate and address customer complaints regarding quality.
• Identify areas for quality improvement and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with legal, industry, and organizational standards and regulations.
• Initiate and lead quality improvement projects and teams.
• Document QA activities and prepare reports for management.

Job Summary

The Quality Engineer applies quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to the organization. The take a primary role in ensuring compliance within the organization to both internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control systems and inspection criteria
