Job summary

FabrinetWest is seeking a Quality Engineer to organize and perform quality engineering functions aimed at improving quality and reducing costs through QA on conformance to reduce scrap, rework, and customer complaints. You will interface with customers and support organizational goals toward total customer satisfaction.

The role involves auditing quality controls, analyzing machine/process quality capability, preparing inspection instructions, supporting NPI/Prototype, and maintaining ISO

Qualifications

• Education: B.A/B.S, B.Eng or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience: 3+ years experiences in manufacturing environment
• Required Skills: IPC A 610, Quality Testing (PCBA, Electronics component), knowledge of CAPA, and process audit
• Required Training: IPC A_610, Quality Management

Responsibilities

• Review and identify manufacturing problems or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process and outgoing product quality, recommends solutions
• Audit to ensure that quality controls are maintained
• Studies quality capability of machines and process and furnish results to design and manufacturing planning
• Prepare inspection instruction correspond to process and product specification
• Involves and support NPI/ Prototype
• Communicate effectively with team for customer\'s complaints and provide solution
• Know your customer\'s expectations and drive actions to meet them
• Support Quality Management System
• Handle daily & weekly FPY & OBA report
• Supervise OBA Inspectors for daily task, ensuring proper inspection result following IPC standard as well as customer requirement
• Process GAP analysis for site document following ISO
