Job summary

Verify, Inc. is hiring an Aerospace Quality professional to ensure products meet AS9100 and customer requirements across supplier networks. You will review processes, perform First Article inspections, read blueprints, and drive root cause analysis with cross‑functional teams.

This role requires 3–5 years of aerospace quality experience, US citizenship for government contracts, willingness to travel, and the ability to work with complex audits and corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of aerospace quality requirements experience.
  • AS9100 and AS9102 experience; ISO 9001 desirable.
  • Experience performing and/or evaluating First Article Inspections.
  • Experience reading blueprints and specifications.
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action development experience.
  • Auditing experience (ISO 9001, AS9100, Internal).
  • US citizenship required for government contract.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize quality science techniques to effect continuous performance improvement at assigned suppliers.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to process, assembly, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or electro‑mechanical systems.
  • Ensure that performance and quality of products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
  • Use surveillance and auditing techniques to identify opportunities for process and product improvement.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, supplier, and procurement to ensure requirements / expectations are satisfied.
  • Facilitate development of supplier recovery plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier process for compliance to purchase order and engineering requirements.
  • Collaborate with supplier to investigate root cause and corrective actions when process or product deficiencies are detected.
  • Identify, plan, and facilitate cross‑functional improvement activities.
  • Deploy variation management tools and techniques at select suppliers to mitigate risk.
  • Have performed Quality System Audits, AS9102 First Article Reviews.
  • Computer proficiency and proficiency with MS Office products.

Job description

Additional Comments
  • Travel is required and may extend beyond the local area.
  • Initial supplier assignments may change to meet customer requirements.
  • Work hours are not fixed or guaranteed and may extend beyond 40 hours per week to meet customer requirements.
  • Aerospace supplier experience is preferred and may be used as the primary selection criteria among equally qualified candidates.
Skills Requirement
  • Production (or Manufacturing) Quality Assurance/Control in Aerospace industry (or similar).
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Collaborate with production personnel and stakeholders.
  • Identify and drive root cause and corrective actions.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • In process and Final Inspection.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years’ experience of Aerospace Quality requirements experience
  • Previous experience with AS9100 and AS9102 (ISO 9001 is desirable but not required)
  • Previous experience performing and/or evaluating First Article Inspections
  • Previous experience with blueprint reading
  • Previous experience in Root Cause analysis and Corrective Action/Preventative Action Development
  • Previous experience in auditing (any of these – ISO 9001, AS9100, Internal)
  • Must be a US citizen due to government contract
