Alfa Laval is seeking a Quality specialist to join our Richmond, VA operations. You will lead quality-related activities across production, participate in audits, and drive continuous improvement in line with our Quality Strategy to ensure top-tier performance.
You will manage calibration, support welding processes and PPAP requests, and ensure compliance with ASME, ISO 9001, and other standards while coaching teams on regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

As a key member of our Quality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards across our manufacturing processes and products. You will handle quality aspects directly related to production, participate in and conduct customer and supplier audits, and address quality-related non-conformities, observations, and comments.
You'll lead and support quality improvement projects and activities, actively participate in the launch of new products or modifications to existing ones, and manage the claim analysis and resolution process. Additionally, you will help promote and manage continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality area, aligning your efforts with Alfa Laval's Quality Strategy to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
This is an onsite position located in Richmond, VA.

You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline and: 3+ years of experience working with Heat exchangers and Fluid handling products. Experience in Lean manufacturing / ALPS (preferred). Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft tool. Project management, process analysis, and process improvement experience.
