Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp is seeking a quality leader to develop and drive initiatives that improve internal and external quality for supported product lines. You will aim for targets like <2500 PPM and >92% first pass yield, promoting Lean through standard work, Poke-Yoke, FMEA, and visual management.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, transition temporary fixes to permanent actions, and analyze production data to identify trends and implement improvements.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will develop and lead initiatives to improve internal and external quality for supported product lines and achieve related targets of <2500 PPM and >92% first pass yield. Lead and promote kaizen activities to help achieve quality, delivery, cost and productivity goals. Develop assembly documentation, workmanship specifications and cell production controls to prevent and reduce defects. Support training initiatives within the quality team and assigned product areas. Promote Lean manufacturing principles via the use of Standard Work, Poke-Yoke, FMEA, Visual Management and Variation Reduction.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop, lead and implement quality improvement action plans, procedures and processes necessary to achieve and maintain targeted quality performance goals

  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge in the areas of quality and lean manufacturing to maximize productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

  • Initiate and monitor corrective and preventative actions

  • Enforce quality standards

  • Support direct labor training and certification. Verify accuracy of training plans

  • Provide project leadership for major quality initiatives

  • Lead and drive efforts to transition temporary corrective actions to permanent corrective and preventative actions

  • Use analytical techniques and tools to study production data, identify trends and define innovative solutions to challenging problems

  • Support part and process qualification initiatives for supported product lines


Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Engineering Degree or a minimum of 10 years commensurate experience in an engineering related discipline required

  • Experience with ISO9001 quality system

  • Proven experience with leading teams in a lean production environment

  • Experience directing and interacting with production personnel

  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly, and production equipment

  • Knowledge of material procurement functions such as purchasing, inventory,shipping & receiving

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of customers, employees, and suppliers ranging from assembly techniciansto Management

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools is required

  • Previous motors experience

  • Previous quality experience

  • Experience with AS9100 quality system

  • Experience with CAD, FEA, and Database systems

  • Experience with Oracle


Work Type

Onsite -This role follows an Onsite Work Schedule and requires working from your designated Regal Rexnord office on a fulltime basis.

Expected Base Salary Range: $54,600-$81,900


The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's basepaycompensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience,educationand internal peer compensationcomparisons among other potential factors.



  • This role may be filled atdifferent levelsdepending on the candidate's experience, skills, and business needs.
