Job description

Seeking a Quality Engineer to manage quality assurance aspects of manufacturing processes and support compliance with company policies and customer requirements. This role supports new product introduction, first-article builds, product validation, and quality standards throughout production.

What You'll Do as a Quality Engineer:

As a Quality Engineer, you'll support quality assurance from new product introduction and first-article builds through validation and production release. You'll work with engineering documentation and statistical quality tools to help ensure products meet customer requirements.

Quality Engineer Duties Include:

• Supporting quality activities for new product introduction
• Reviewing engineering documents for customer requirements
• Coordinating first-article builds and product traceability to standards
• Developing test methods and procedures for product validation
• Identifying and procuring required inspection equipment
• Performing Gauge R&R, Cp/Cpk, and other validation testing
• Supporting continual improvement and statistical process control (SPC)
• Applying 6S and following quality, safety, and operating procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related technical field; experience may substitute
• 3-5 years of quality control or quality assurance experience
• 3-5 years implementing and maintaining statistical process control
• 3-5 years of quality data analysis and statistical problem-solving
• Experience coordinating continual improvement work groups and SPC
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows and planning activities
• Familiarity with aerospace, ISO 9000, and quality engineering principles
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Facility access subject to applicable ITAR/EAR requirements
• Role combines office and manufacturing-floor work
