Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Quality Engineer for PCBA and electro‑mechanical products. You will ensure reliability in demanding environments, drive defect reduction, and support audit‑ready processes across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.

You will lead root-cause analysis, implement CAPA, and advance Lean/Six Sigma initiatives while mentoring QC staff and collaborating with suppliers to improve performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and RCA leadership.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, CAPA, SPC, supplier quality.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing/PCBA assembly quality.
  • Data-driven mindset and cross-functional communication.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and engineering education.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve a QMS aligned to ISO 9001:2015.
  • Develop inspection plans for manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Analyse yield, scrap, rework, and defect trends to drive improvements.
  • Lead root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA) and manage CAPA/FACAR.
  • Own incoming inspection and guide QC personnel.
  • Partner with PCBA suppliers; drive SCARs and performance gains.
  • Support NPI (PFMEA, validation, FAI).
  • Advance Lean/Six Sigma efforts and reduce COPQ.
  • Track KPIs and present data-driven insights.
  • Enable cross-functional alignment on quality standards.

Job Description Quality Engineer – PCBA & Electro‑Mechanical Systems

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll help ensure the reliability of PCBA and electro‑mechanical products used in demanding environments. You’ll work across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to strengthen processes, drive defect reduction, and ensure audit‑ready compliance.
