Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in the United States is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager – Lead Quality for Mission-Critical Technologies to ensure the quality and reliability of products powering critical missions.

Lead a skilled quality team, develop and implement plans, oversee audits and investigations, and drive improvements while partnering with engineering, operations, and leadership on new product and process initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance required.
  • ITAR regulations require U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance efforts to ensure products meet company and customer standards.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and improvements.
  • Oversee audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Validate quality processes, documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership on new product and process initiatives.
  • Manage and coach quality team members, ensuring accountability and growth.
  • Prepare and analyze quality documentation, reports, and trends.
  • Support compliance with safety, regulatory, and import/export requirements.
  • Stay current on quality trends and best practices.

What you need

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems — advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field — required.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination — required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance — required.
  • This position requires U.S. person status under ITAR regulations and the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.

Salary Range: $114,800.00-$153,100.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
