Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a quality/customer liaison to manage communications with customers for processed products and to coordinate deviation requests and inspections. You will support returns, investigations, and cross-functional resolution of issues while adhering to quality standards.

You will interact with engineering, operations, and the customer to understand requirements and to document actions. A background in PCB quality and NADCAP/AS9100 familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

  • BS in an engineering discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Quality Department experience PCB experience preferred.
  • Understanding of printed circuit accreditation programs (NADCAP, AS9100, ISO) MIL compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as customer point of contact for all communications regarding processed or in-process products.
  • Submit deviation requests using customer systems and databases.
  • Coordinate with customer source inspectors and communicate customer concerns post-shipment.
  • Maintain returns and complaints; manage investigation and resolution cross-functionally.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts (8D, PFMEA, 6S, DOE, Jidoka/Andon).
  • Assist with procedures, documentation updates and training; generate AS9102 FAI reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Act as customer point of contact for all customer communications regarding processed or in process product
  • This will include active use of customer designed systems and databases for submission of deviation requests and other customer notification functions
  • Assist with requesting and communicating with customer source inspectors
  • Communicate customer concerns regarding quality packaging, product issues, or general quality concerns after product shipment
  • This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance and issuance of returns and complaints
  • Maintain and integrate quality systems for return and complaint processing Identify, interpret, and apply customer requirements to active and shipped products
  • This person will be trained and required to use customer specific references and general PCB specifications
  • Interpret and analyze customer requests. This will include communicating with customer for clearer understanding and follow-up questions to assist the quality department in addressing customer inquiries
  • Analyze product returns to establish preliminary investigation for quality issues. This includes communicating findings within the quality department, operations, process engineering, front end engineering, and the customer, as applicable
  • Understand and support continuous improvement elements such as 8D Corrective Actions, ZDP, PFMEA, 6S, TPM, DOE, Jidoka/Andon, Customer Satisfaction, and Quality Alerts
  • Assist in process auditing
  • Assist with procedure and documentation updates and associated training
  • Establish format and generation of AS9102 FAI reports
  • GD&T – Understanding customer blueprints and correlating requirements to physical product measurements
  • Coordinating outside service for customer specific requirements
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English, to the extent necessary to perform the job functions
  • Able to understand concerning technical requirements
  • Able to effectively communicate with others, both basic and technical concepts
  • Possess strong customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and peripheral devices
  • Self starter with ability to do follow-up to completion without supervision
  • Understands basic corrective/preventive action concepts
  • Well organized and able to multitask
Education and Experience:
  • BS in an Engineering discipline preferred or equivalent experience

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available 1st of the month following date of hire. Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
