ManpowerGroup seeks a Quality Engineer in Miami, FL to support quality, manufacturing, engineering, and fleet operations. The role emphasizes RCA, containment, and robust actions to improve production quality and risk mitigation.

You will work cross-functionally to resolve systemic issues, lead PFMEA and Control Plan development, and drive continuous improvement in quality processes with strong communication. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 8–10 years in a manufacturing environment, automotive/aviation/CM preferred.
  • Proven expertise in RCA and Six Sigma with systemic quality improvements.
  • Strong planning, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quality issue tracking, containment, RCA, and corrective actions for non-conformances.
  • Support NVH diagnosis and establish standard inspection processes and tools.
  • Design and drive continuous improvement initiatives for production quality audits and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Vehicle Development.
  • Contribute to PFMEA and Control Plan development to mitigate risks.

Job description

Our client, manufacturing is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality organization supporting quality, manufacturing, engineering, and fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Miami, FL
Pay Range: $80-$85/hour + Benefits
What's the Job?
  • Manage quality issue tracking to implement containment, drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and lead Corrective Action for non-conformances identified during production quality audits and the vehicle release process.
  • Support diagnosis of NVH issues reported during Rider Quality Audit and EFR (Engineering Feedback Review) processes; establish a standard NVH inspection process and define required tools.
  • Design, champion, and execute strategic continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of production quality audits, EFR, and issue resolution.
  • Work cross-functionally with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Vehicle Development to strategically resolve systemic product and process issues.
  • Support development and review of PFMEA and Control Plans to ensure compliance and robust risk mitigation strategies for all critical manufacturing processes.
What's Needed?
  • BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, aviation, or contract manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Shainin Red X, Six Sigma Black/Green Belt) with demonstrated success driving systemic quality improvements across the value stream.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, decision-making, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, communicate technical results clearly and accurately, and drive issues to successful closure; required travel to other company locations as needed (including but not limited to Austin, Atlanta, Hayward, San-Franscisco).
