Allison Transmission is seeking a Quality Engineer in Lewisburg, TN to support quality initiatives across suppliers and internal processes. You will interact with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and drive corrective actions and process improvements.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, quality documentation, and liaison duties with suppliers to ensure product quality and production efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred or AS in engineering related discipline.
• 2 years mechanical experience or 4 to 6 years mechanical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsabilidades

• Routinely interact with cross-functional groups within the Liebherr organization.
• Act as the liaison between suppliers and Liebherr for quality, production, and process capability related concerns.
• Identify, investigate, analyze and correct problems in purchased product quality, production and control at supplier and Liebherr manufacturing locations.
• Apply and promote Quality tools and techniques.
• Conduct cross functional audits, generate reports and follow up with corrective action.
• Analyze data, develop reports and quality metrics.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis, Corrective, and Preventive actions within the organization.
• Develop quality and technical documentation.
• Support production operation for quality related issues.
