Job summary

The EIT/ Zollner Leesburg facility is seeking a Materials Program Manager to plan and enforce quality objectives across our electronics manufacturing operations. This role emphasizes audits, corrective actions, supplier actions, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have a 4-year technical degree and 5–10 years in electronics manufacturing quality assurance, with strong ISO 9001 knowledge and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 4 year Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in a technical field.
• 5 to 10 years experience with electronic manufacturing quality assurance positions.
• Experience interacting with Directors, Managers and Suppliers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Internal Audits per the EIT Internal Audit Schedule.
• Investigate, analyze and report back on Customer Corrective Actions (CARs).
• Initiate and follow-up on Supplier Corrective Actions (SCARs) and analyze metrics.
• Suggest improvements and changes to Quality Assurance methods and processes.
• Review and approve Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Maintain ISO Quality Management System documentation and controls.
• Stay updated on Quality Assurance practices and ESD awareness.
• Support the director in continual improvement initiatives and MRB dispositions.
• Other duties as assigned

EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology)-Zollner is looking for a Materials Program Manager to join our team in our Leesburg, VA location! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare, and we're proud to build a team of dedicated professionals who take pride in their work.

Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, coordinating and taking actions to ensure that all Quality Objectives are implemented and maintained.

Essential Functions:

• Perform Internal Audits per the EIT Internal Audit Schedule.
• Investigate, analyze and report back to the Customer on Customer Corrective Actions (CARs).
• Initiate and follow-up on Supplier Corrective/Actions (SCARs). 4. Manage and develop statistics for analysis and reporting internally as well as to the Customer.
• Suggest Improvements and changes to Quality Assurance methods and processes.
• Review and approve Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Interact with Document Control to ensure all documentation, including ISO Quality Management System documents, are maintained.
• Maintain up to date technical and practical knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance practices. 9. Trained and aware of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
• Assist the Director/Manager of Quality Assurance in promoting and maintaining the EIT Preventive Action/Continual Improvement policy.
• Represent Quality Assurance for dispositions at MRBs.
• Other duties as assigned

Education Requirement:

4 year Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in a technical field.

Experience Requirement:

5 to 10 years experience with electronic manufacturing quality assurance positions.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA):

• Ability to exchange factual and technical information clearly and concisely with Directors, Managers, Supervisors, Suppliers and Customers.
• Ability to organize, prepare and analyze fact finding data in order to resolve problems. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Materials, Project Managers, Customer Service and Quality Control.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of ISO 9001-2000 processes.

Working Conditions:

Flexibility required for meetings across multiple time zones.

Schedule:

9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off

Environment:

Warehouse setting with climate-controlled work areas

Physical Requirements:

Regular lifting of up to 30 lbs, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
