Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies in Indiana is seeking a quality engineer to lead APQP efforts, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, at least three years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing, and strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills; GD&T interpretation and statistical techniques are expected.

Responsibilities

• Head APQP efforts and review/update customer specifications and portal.
• Coordinate with customers & suppliers on assigned product issues.
• Develop, review, and implement process flow diagrams, control plans, and FMEA.
• Train employees on quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Read and interpret GD&T and apply statistical techniques as needed.
• Support IATF16949 and ISO14001 initiatives.
• Respond to customer concerns in writing and verbally.
