Job summary

Dana Canada Corp. is seeking a qualified quality engineer to join our automotive supply operations in the Henderson, KY area. The role focuses on quality systems, problem solving, and process improvement in collaboration with Tier 1 suppliers.

Responsibilities include supporting PPAP, PFMEA, APQP, GD&T, and IATF 16949 compliance, performing audits, and driving corrective actions while working with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or an equivalent field preferred.
• 3+ years experience in Quality or related field preferably in automotive industry working for a Tier 1 supplier.
• Strong personal computer skills including Microsoft Office and various statistical software packages.
• Manufacturing experience - preferably in automotive industry working for a Tier 1 supplier.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, organizational skills, and math skills.

Education and Qualifications

• Strong personal computer skills including Microsoft Office and various statistical software packages.
• Manufacturing experience - preferably in automotive industry working for a Tier 1 supplier.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, organizational skills, and math skills

Skills

• ASQ CQE preferred
• Work off-shifts periodically to resolve specific issues and problems.
• Strong understanding of products and production processes
• The ability to deal with multiple priorities and deal with stressful situations.
• Experience with: PPAP, PFMEA. APQP, GD&T, Gage R&R, SPC, IATF 16949 , Internal Auditing
• IATF 16949 External and/or Internal Auditor certification preferred
