Job summary

LeoForce in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead site-level QC, drive ISO 9001 conformance, and design and maintain QA systems across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related manufacturing experience required.
• Minimum 5–7 years in quality management in manufacturing.
• Experience managing direct reports and cross-functional teams.
• ISO 9001 / AS9100 auditing preferred and QMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-level QC leadership and support for conformance audits, including ISO 9001 compliance.
• Design, implement, and maintain quality control plans and inspection systems.
• Oversee product quality across the value stream and act as quality representative in inspections and CAPAs.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and engagement across teams.
• Perform data analysis, trend identification, and KPI improvement recommendations.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and lead corrective actions.
• Lead RCCA for customer returns and internal rejects using 8D and RCA.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and Kaizen events.
• Support supplier quality development and monitor performance.
• Conduct supplier quality audits to ensure compliance.

Experience: Senior Level

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide site-level Quality Control (QC) leadership and support for internal and external conformance audits, including ISO 9001 compliance and audit readiness.
• Design, implement, and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and inspection systems to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Oversee product quality throughout the value stream, serving as the quality representative for inspections, QA holds, A3s, CAPAs, and production meetings.
• Promote a collaborative team environment by encouraging communication, engagement, and cross-functional participation.
• Perform data analysis, trend identification, and improvement recommendations to support KPI targets and business goals.
• Troubleshoot quality issues, provide technical support, and lead corrective and preventive actions to ensure effective resolution.
• Lead customer material returns and internal rejects, ensuring effective Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) using structured methods such as Root Cause Analysis and 8D.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and Kaizen events from a quality perspective, including project charter development, payback calculations, and KPI impact analysis.
• Support supplier quality development and performance monitoring.
• Conduct supplier quality audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ managing direct reports.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with managing EHS procedures.
• Good computer skills with Microsoft, SAP experience a plus.
• ISO 9001 / AS9100 Auditor Certification preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 (AS9100 preferred) and QMS principles.
