Job summary

Movement Search and Delivery is working with a global manufacturer to identify and evaluate a Quality Engineer. Lead and facilitate global and site quality initiatives that raise the standard and keep improvement moving.

You will own day-to-day site quality engineering, including material disposition, concern management, APQP/FMEA/PPAP, and metrology. This role is the technical quality link between the customer and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, LPA)

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve quality issues; own customer concern and corrective action processes
• Serve as the technical quality liaison between customers and site manufacturing
• Lead document control, electronic data collection systems, and the Global Quality System
• Manage layered, internal, external, and third-party audit programs
• Facilitate APQP, control plans, PPAP, process sign-off, and customer-specific requirements
• Operate and program metrology equipment including the CMM; coach and develop the quality team

About the Role: Lead and facilitate global and site quality initiatives that raise the standard and keep improvement moving. What You Will Do:

• Identify and solve quality issues; own customer concern and corrective action processes
• Serve as the technical quality liaison between customers and site manufacturing

• Manage layered, internal, external, and third-party audit programs

What You Need to Succeed:

• 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, LPA)
• Strong problem-solving skills using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and similar methods
• Experience leading document control, quality systems, and audit programs
• Ability to operate and program gages and CMM equipment in a quality/metrology lab
