Job summary

Tuopu USA, LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Fremont team. The role focuses on servicing OEM customers, reporting issues, initiating corrective actions, and verifying effectiveness.

Responsibilities include communicating with customers, conducting root cause analyses, and coordinating cross-functional responses with production and logistics. Travel up to 40% is required, with a flexible schedule to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, QA, or related field.
• 1–2 years automotive industry experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems and methods (8D, 5Whys).

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer-reported quality issues and determine root cause.
• Prepare containment actions, root cause analysis, and evidence for customer systems.
• Update customers on action progress.
• Lead meetings and trainings per customer standards.
• Create quality documents and train employees.
• Collaborate with production, logistics and other departments.
• Travel up to 40% with flexible schedule.

Job Description:

Tuopu USA, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing OEMcustomers. This role involvesreporting and communicating with OEM customers when issues occur lineside, conducting corrective actions, and verifying that the action has been effective.

Responsibilities:

• Provide feedback on the quality issues from customers and investigating the root cause.
• Finish the qualityreport from the customer systemsuch as containment actions, rootcause, and uploading evidenceinto the customer system.
• Report to customers on the progress of actions.
• Hold meetings and trainings for internal employees in accordance with customer standards.
• Create qualitydocuments and trainthe employees.
• Cross functioncooperates with internal departments such as production, logistics, etc.
• Required 40% travel and must have a flexible schedule

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, qualityassurance, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in the Automotive Industry.
• Knowledge of NPI, FMEA, APQP, MSA, PPAP, and SPC.
• Deep understanding of quality controlmethodologies and standards(e.g.,8D, 5Why).
• Proficient in using quality controltools and software.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
• Flexibility to adjust shifts or work hours based on business needs is essential.
• Familiar with PPT, Excel, word etc.
• Expected soft skills includes communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificationin quality controlor quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA).
• 1 years of experience in aftersales withinthe OEM industry.
• Understanding of statistical process control(SPC) and otherquality improvement techniques.
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g.,IATF 16949).
• Vehicle headline & interior experience
• Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
• Proven experience in electrical and engineering

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000/Year (Please keep in mind that salary will be based on experience in the automotive industry, educational background, and other skills determined by Program Manager)
