The Quality Engineer (Part Approval) is an onsite role located in Fort Wayne, IN. The Quality Engineer is responsible for managing customer and supplier part approval documentation required for approval of new part submissions (NPI / APQP), part design and specification changes, and annual part revalidation when required by the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions customer. Represent Supply Chain Management Logistics Center Americas Quality in New Product Introduction (NPI)/Advanced Product Quality Planning(APQP) and other related projects for new products that will flow through LCA. Guide Quality Department members who are supporting customer part approval tasks.
