Morrison Products, Inc. is seeking a Plant Quality Supervisor to lead the Quality function at the site level and uphold the corporate QMS. You will champion quality initiatives, train staff, analyze data and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
The role supports continuous improvement, guides internal audits, and coordinates with suppliers to ensure conformance to specifications. English fluency is required; Six Sigma is preferred.
Responsible for supervising the Quality function at the plant level and ensuring adherence to the corporate Quality Management System (QMS). This role champions quality initiatives, provides training, analyzes quality data, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence. The position also supports continuous improvement efforts and represents the Quality Department in plant projects while promoting corporate priorities of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. This position reports to the Corporate Quality Manager.
Directly supervises the Quality Technician(s) at their home plant.
Travel to other MPI facilities is required, including occasional international travel. Travel to customer and supplier sites as needed.
Includes access to manufacturing equipment and processes, product drawings, product costs, customer and supplier lists, and process data.
A bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
A Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.
Fluency in English is required; fluency in Spanish is preferred.
5 years’ experience developing and managing the Quality System in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of corrective actions, returned goods management, PPAP, data analysis, mistake-proofing, problem-solving tools, and quality data collection systems.
